WHY IS IT ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY?

What people like or adore most give it different names, most of them, slangs. 'Money is one of the most loved objects by the contemporary society, arguably by everyone on this world we are living on. Though some people pretend as if they are not after money; people say those types of things because in some instances they don’t want to be looked by the eye which is going to say “hey you, you are greedy! I have a classmate by the name of Mawande Mvumvu. The mentioned guy once said in class that he is not schooling because he wants money in the future. I wondered for a minute...maybe he doesn’t know that his world would hardly move in absence of money.
Just to go back a bit on the above stated piece about the money nicknames, if I can give you few of the nicknames: Inyhuku (usually used by Xhosa people), moola, cash, bucks, greenback, and rhino. No-one bothers him/herself about where and why these terms were coined. You know why? It goes back to what I said that we are so obsessed over money, we even forget what to ask and what not. If nowadays you don’t have money like me, you are absolutely nothing, talking from experience.
The world you are living in is experiencing vast of bad things because of cash. I am talking about prostitution (the goal is money), I would have done nothing if I cannot count drugs in, crime, they are many, you name them, they all occur because of money. Can you close your eyes for a moment and think of the world where no-one knew anything about money…?  What a peaceful world. There would just be no ways for us to know about all the negative stuff, like apartheid, because if you follow it, the only reason was money. Almost every bad thing happens because of “iqhosha elingenantunja” (a button with no hole) as my grandmother would say.
I had decided that I won’t post anything on my blog today, but I got moved by my situation of being bankrupt. If you look at what time this piece was posted, after 9 pm, don’t forget I was still at school. I should have left long ago but finance came unfriendly to me these days. So I waited for the 9:30 pm bus to the township.
Money makes many people think like Willie Sutton and say “I rob banks because that’s where the money is”. Those words come to my head and go, they won’t win my soul!

IS IT THE BETTER LIFE FOR ALL OR FOR SOME?

African National Congress (ANC) is my party, I like it, and there is nothing to hide on that. But now it seems like they are pulling out of the path. They have totally lost the purpose of those who fought for the party. They call themselves ‘presidents’ but me only see ‘predators’. In times of those who honestly fought for our country there were ‘paramount chiefs’, but contemporary you only find ‘paramount thieves’

-Peter Mokaba Stadium
Were these two images shot in the same country? absolutely yes. Either South African government does not want to serve its people, or it's corrupt.

I love my country, I love my people, and I love my religion passionately. I strongly believe that we have the guts to be one of the magnificent countries in the world.
Everyone must be cared for; it really hurts seeing some people going to bed with empty stomachs, some with unpurified water. Seeing everyone mattering in SA whether poor or uneducated would make real people smile.
This is such a great country. It has just hosted one of the huge tournaments worldwide (2010 FIFA World Cup). We spent multi-billions building golden walls, heaven class restaurants and many more expensive things, you name them. We have proved that we DO have power, then why are we not building decent homes for our people??
I love my president, Jacob Gezeyihlekisa Zuma. He is always on duty as expected, BUT he minds a lot about other countries’ businesses. Like now, his nose is deeply inserted in Libyan quarrel, spending money. Why not spending the money to South African needy people??

There is a promise that by 2014 you will get not a single shack in SA. Believe you me, I bet you, if they are still driving this way they will not make the time!

PROTEAS COACH BEING RACIST AND UNFAIR!

People, black people in particular, are starting to get upset due to that Corie Van Zyl (Proteas coach) is always keeping Lonwabo Tsotsobe out of the World Cup games.
Lonwabo Tsotsobe, a Port Elizabeth born boy, is way very good to some of Proteas players. But the coach keeps on selecting the worst players compared to Tsotsobe. Taking Graeme Smith for an example, Smith has been performing poorly in the games throughout the tournament so far. But the coach keeps on counting him in, whereas there are players who eagerly want to make our nation proud!
Do not they miss the days of celebrating with Lonwabo? This a celebration for Tsotsobe's 4 consecutive wicket victory against India early this year.

Let us take our eyes back to Imran Tahir's injury on his bowling hand thumb, which resulted in Imran not playing couple of games. People were automatically claiming that Imran will be replaced by Tsotsobe as they are both excellent bowlers. Did it happen? Obviously NO! He instead was replaced by Johan Botha.

Before I fused the pen and paper for this article, I first done something which I may call a survey on 'how people see Proteas coach on the team selection for the world cup games', most of the people claimed that he is kind of like "racist".
Is South African cricket all about White people? Or what's really happening??

WHERE WILL RACIAL PREJUDICE TAKE US?

I have been watching and also taking part in some racial things occuring in my surroundings. That’s when I recognised that racist people are not constructing our country but demolishing and literally destroying our lovely Mzantsi. We (the mzantsi nation) are not just spoiling our present generation but the upcoming generation as well.
What moved me to write this story is my 7-year old nephew, who just said “malume ndiyamcaphukela umlungu” (uncle I hate a white person). I was so shocked and tried my very best to change what he was thinking. He asked me “why did they want to kill tata Madiba”. I explained telling him that, that was then, South Africa is now new.
Hatred because of the colour of the skin is just selfishness, greediness, or even stupidity if I may say. We all belong in this same Rainbow Nation (whether you are black, white, coloured, pink, green or whatever). In order for our country to be a booming one in every aspect we must remove that dirty and unholy sense of racism when seeing someone of other different race.
It is so disapointing and embarrasing to see that our media is also promoting this bad habit. I make the previous statement under Nomakula ‘Kuli’ Robert’s (South African TV personality and columnist) perspective, as she wrote a very racist column directed to coloured people.
It takes an open mind to be colorblind.
You don’t still own a black and white tv, so why see the world that way?

IS MALEMA COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET?!?

If I remember things well, the early months of the year are Malema’s. just in a very short space of time, in the beginning of last year, he did many things (kicking out Johna Fisha, the BBC journalist. Racial sayings and much more).
Not just the above mentioned, but many controversies were raised by Juju throughout the year 2010. Has his time arrived again, as it is that time of the year? Above question is being answered! “Those in power must not abuse their office to benefit their friends and immediate family” ANCYL leader said on Sunday, 27th February. To here more about this statement follow this link: http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/politics/Malema-delivers-stinging-message-20110227
Are those words having something beyond them? Are they directed to someone whom he knows who is using the office in to advantage?
